We had a lot of great feedback about our club and teams from the Birrong trials – they were really happy with the day and very grateful that you all spent money at their canteen! Now, we (well, the hard working Bruce) has arranged a huge amount of trial games this weekend as follows.

Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 March: Maroubra

Most junior teams have trial games in Maroubra this weekend (except the U6/U7). These trials will be a special event as they are being played at amazing new facilities which only opened this week – Coral Sea Park. Please check the Maroubra schedule here: Trial games 21_22 March MAROUBRA

Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 March: other fields

If you are short but can form more than half a team try to borrow players from other teams by contacting them directly from the coach and managers list (see below!). If you can’t form a team please notify Bruce ASAP (bruce.kalan@csiro.au), and definitely by Friday morning at the latest.

Team changes

Please note that some team names have changed grades and names. Tracey sent a new coach and managers list to all concerned today. If you are unsure about who your team is, please contact your Coach or Manager – we have also asked that they contact you too!

U6 and U7 Trial games

We will be holding trial games for our U6 and U7 teams on Tuesday 24 March between 5-6pm at Gannons Park. We will contact coaches and managers with more information. This will also be a chance for parents to meet members of the Committee who will be there on the night. Please note NO U6 and U7 teams will be playing external trials this weekend.

• First Coach and Managers Meeting Thursday 26 March from 8pm at St George Masos
• Season starts for AAA on Monday 6 April (Easter Monday)
• Season starts for all other teams on Friday 10 April (potential O45) and 11-12 April (everyone else)
• Welcome BBQ Saturday 18 April, Gannons Park – all welcome
