Name Our Canteen, 2027
Let’s be honest – “The Canteen” isn’t exactly getting anyone excited at full-time.
For 60 years, Forest Rangers has served up bacon egg rolls, sausages, coffee, and the occasional life-changing hot chip. It’s time our canteen finally got a name worthy of its legendary status.
So we’re throwing it open to the whole Forest Rangers family: What should we call our canteen in 2027?
Punny? Great.
Cheeky? Even better.
A tribute to someone’s nanna’s meat pies? We’re all ears.
How it works
- Submit your best (or worst – we’ll judge) suggestion in the entry form
- Multiple entries are fine but workshopping ideas in the family group chat is highly encouraged
- Entries close 1 December 2026
- Winning name gets a canteen sign, announced across our socials, and bragging rights at Gannons Park
There’s no prize money – just the glory of walking past a canteen with your suggested name on it every weekend!
Suggestions will be shortlisted, and judged by the committee.
