Forest Rangers FC is a friendly and family oriented club that has grown over many years to become the largest female soccer club in the St George Association, so we can cater for girls and women of all ages and abilities.
- We have girls teams playing in female comps for players of age 5 to 16.
- Girls also have the option of playing in mixed comps (with boys) for ages 5 to 11.
- We have women’s teams in all grades right up to our Premier League Women’s team.
Forest Rangers has female representation at all levels of our club (players, coaches, managers, referees, canteen and committee) and we participate in St George forums to develop and promote female football in our region. Our dedicated volunteers and fantastic sponsors allow us to provide a generous and well organised footballing experience at one of the lowest registration fees in our area.
What day do females play?
Girls teams from the age of 5 to 9 play on Saturday morning. All older girls teams and women play on Sunday. Mixed teams (girls and boys) from the age of 5 to 11 play on Saturday.
Should my daughter play in the mixed or girls comp?
Up to the age of 11 you can choose the comp that your daughter will enjoy most. The rules, fields and cost are exactly the same. You can ask more questions at our Registration Day.
What comps are available for female players 17 and above?
In 2018, St George had four Women’s grades (AAWC, AAWB, AAWA, PLW) and our club fielded teams in all of these grades. Females turning 17 this year and above can play in the women’s comp. This year our Association is promoting the establishment of a new female under 17-21 comp and an over 30 women’s comp.
How do I join Forest Rangers and how much does it cost?
See our ‘2019 Registration Information’ tab.
