2026 COACHING & DEVELOPMENT
We’re very excited to share some great news as we look ahead to the 2026 season!
Our club is proud to welcome our appointed Club Coach and Technical Directors for both our Boys’ and Girls’ programs. They bring a wealth of experience and a shared passion for helping young players grow, both on and off the field. Read ahead below to find out more about them!
Our coaching approach follows the development standards set by Football St George and Football NSW (FNSW), ensuring your child is part of a clear and supportive pathway-from Under 5s to Under 18s, and all the way to our Premier League teams. Whether your child is just starting out or striving for higher levels of competition, we’re here to help them develop their skills in a positive and encouraging environment.
We’re also thrilled to continue working with LM Football Academy and Tiger Goalkeeping Academy in 2026. These trusted partners will deliver specialist training sessions for players of all ages and abilities – regardless whether your child is in an A, B or C grade team, they will have the same opportunities — and the best part? These programs are fully included in your child’s registration. No extra costs!
Our Coaches & Technical Directors
Adam Vizy
Club Coach
- 20+ years coaching experience across junior and youth football NPL and club levels, focusing on player growth and development.
- Technical Director with FRFC for 4+ years-promotion to Head Coach. Adam has led football operations, coach mentoring, and development across all junior and youth levels.
- Program Development-Adam has created training academies and holiday clinics to support skill development and talent pathways.
- Player Development-successfully progressed youth players into FRFC Premier League squads and NPL Clubs, while fostering development across all player levels, including elite A-grade talent.
George Comninos
Girls Technical Director
- Coaching experience coaching A Grade for 8+ years with both Non-Comp and Competition teams.
- Technical Director—2+ years experience as Technical Director, always looking to expand the program and opportunities for our female players, and to elevate the overall standard of female football within our Club.
- 2025 success-with 5 out of 8 Junior Female teams qualifying for finals, highlighting the ongoing growth and achievement of our female teams, under George’s leadership.
Riley Cassidy
Boys Technical Director
- Player experience played for 5 years in NPL as a Youth and Senior. Has been playing for FRFC in our Premier League squad for 5 years.
- LM Football Coaching-Senior Coach with LM Football Coaching for 5+ years (private and group coaching).
- Coaching Experience Riley has been coaching at FRFC for 4 years.
- Home grown-Riley has been a Ranger for a total of 13 years, and counting!
Trials Event
Trials are held every year in October/November for players to join the program the following season. These trials are open to male and female players.
In our selection process the players are evaluated on a number of key areas. These are:
- Technique
- Balance
- Speed
- Attitude
- Behaviour
- Skill
- Personality
- Understanding
- Intelligence
Each player must trial for their position every year, No players position is secure and must be earnt at the trials and throughout the season. This process ensures that each player that trials is given equal opportunity to be involved in the Development Program regardless of what level they played at or at which club.
Each team is allocated a Coach, Assistant Coach and Manager which means the coach/player ratio is the best in the area. This increases the players development and also at a faster rate compared to other similar programs.
The teams train two nights a week and plays games on Saturday within the Football St George Association and also plays a second training game each fortnight against other teams.

Skills Development Program – by LM Football Coaching
We’re excited to offer all FRFC players a free Skills Development Program led by LM Football Coaching, founded by former Rangers junior and current South Coast Flame NPL1 First Grade Captain, Alexis. With over a decade of playing experience and a B Licence under her belt, Alexis has coached locally and at representative level, building a reputation for helping young players grow. Through LM Football Coaching, she and her team deliver high-energy group sessions and clinics focused on building both technical skills and game understanding in a fun, supportive environment.
Places are generally limited, and registration is essential.

Goalkeeper development
Tiger Goalkeeper brings a wealth of knowledge to our goalkeepers at FRFC, having coached and been involved with clubs for 20+ years. With sessions on Tuesday nights, tailored to different ages and skill levels, this program is designed to extend your goalkeeping skills in a dynamic and game-like environment. Little Rangers
The Little Rangers program was introduced in November 2019 as a free introduction to football for boys and girls aged between 4 to 6. Our Junior Development Coaching Team provide a program where children enjoy developing ball participation and game skills in a fun, supportive and non-competitive environment.
